Australia is a leading nation with regards to our usage of Distributed Energy Resources (DER), such as installing rooftop solar panels or using electric vehicles. However, the energy systems that we have today were not designed to optimise DER – they were designed for one-way flows of electricity from large-scale generators to consumers.
This is exactly why Mondo initiated EDGE, a first of its kind distributed energy marketplace trial that aims at DER aggregation, which is when a group of distributed energy resources combine their generation output together to operate as a single entity (in selected Victorian suburbs).
Participating in this program, your business will get the chance to have your solar system installed by industry expert from UNIfied, have your own community solar-power grid while receiving up to $9,000 in rebates for various levels of participation*:
- Up to $1,000 participation payments over the course of the trial, paid quarterly AND
- $1,100 (incl. GST) battery discount for 30KW capacity or less OR
- $1,250 (incl. GST) battery discount for every 5KW between 30 – 50KW capacity (max $5,000) OR
- P.O.A battery discount for 50KW + capacity AND
- Free Ubi installation to the value of $2,000
- All portal and 4G data costs waived for the duration of the trial
