Sorrento High-Capacity Residential Solar & Battery Integration
Project Background & Challenges
The client required a robust, high-output renewable energy solution tailored for a modern double-storey residential home in Sorrento. The key technical challenges are:
- High Household Load: The property required significant solar generation and extensive energy storage to cover daily power requirements and provide complete energy independence.
- Full-Home Backup Requirement: Provisions were needed to maintain continuous three-phase power supply during grid outages, calling for integrated three-phase gateway protection.
- Roof & Site Complexity: The installation involved a double-storey structure with Kliplock roof profiles, necessitating specialised safety edge protection and precise cable routing (~20m three-phase DC run).
