Weight distribution across roofs
The Carbon8 project was faced with initial difficulties due to the uneven roofs of the buildings, causing weight distribution problems. We needed to find a way to overcome this while still maximising Carbon8’s energy capacity to reduce their energy costs.
The solution
Planning makes perfect
The UNIfied team undertook additional planning measures and tests to evaluate appropriate weight distribution across the roofs. As a result we were able to optimise a 67kW solar system solution, saving almost $10,000 annually, and boosting the sustainability of the Carbon8 brand.
