Announced in the May 2023 Federal budget, the proposed $1 billion Household Energy Upgrades Fund will provide discounted consumer finance to increase sustainability across the housing sector.
Once approved, the Fund will provide discounted consumer finance to increase sustainability across the housing sector, including:
- Energy efficiency upgrades such as solar or solar and battery; and
- High performing appliances such heat pump hot water and air conditioners/heater systems, etc.
